Bomba and Plena Adult Workshops

Los Pleneros de la 21 offers Bomba and Plena drumming and dancing classes for adults. BPAW classes are beginner friendly and are flexible -- join as many classes as you can. No minimum required.
The February cycle of adult Bomba and Plena classes will begin February 5th. LeAna Lopez will lead on the dance courses, while Nelson "Mateo" Gonzalez will lead the percussion courses.
We are also excited to welcome guest dance instructor, Indira "Indy" Cordova, joining us 20th February!
FEBRUARY BPAW CLASSES
The dates for the February 2024 cycle of BPAW classes are:
Drumming classes - Mondays, Feb 5, 12, 19
Dance classes - Tuesdays, Feb 6, 20. 26 (Make-up date)
All classes are in person from 6PM to 7:30 pm at the Julia de Burgos Cultural Arts Center

Cost is $21 per class.
Instruments and practice skirts are provided for in-class use.
