Las Fiestas de Cruz 2021 will premiere on LP21’s Facebook on Friday, June 11th at 7:00pm.

After another challenging year, Los Pleneros de la 21 has come together with Pregones/PRTT to celebrate their 36th annual celebration of Las Fiestas de Cruz, a 200+ year old tradition in Puerto Rico. Since 1986, LP21 has been celebrating Las Fiestas de Cruz to create cultural bridges for Latino immigrants and Latino communities in NYC by providing spaces for expressions of traditional celebrations. Our in-person celebration has been halted since the pandemic, but we are determined to celebrate with our community virtually, and we hope you feel the spirit through the screen!

Las Fiestas de Cruz 2021 will premiere on LP21’s Facebook (@pleneros21) at 7:00pm on Friday, June 11th. The band has put together a set of los rosarios cantados a la cruz, which you can download and keep to follow along with us during the performance. We hope you enjoy the concert and continue the celebration safely with friends and family.
