Join LP21 as we celebrate this year’s graduating class of BPCW 2022!!

We are so excited to celebrate these talented little Bomberos y Pleneros. and we hope you will join us at East Harlem Tutorial Program, 2035 2nd Ave. NYC 10029 on Saturday, June 4th at 12pm.

LP21 returned to in-person learning with their 32nd year of the Bomba & Plena Children’s Workshops. These intergenerational classes feature master teaching instructors, guest artists, and interactive lessons for children. This year’s theme was “Keeping Traditions and Paying It Forward.” Children explored the traditions of Bomba & Plena while understanding the social and historical impacts of Puerto Rican Diaspora as it relates to our home in East Harlem. Come join us as these children share what they have learned with us!
