December is the time to come together as a community and celebrate our roots with holiday traditions and cheer! Every December Los Pleneros de la 21 devote a BPAW Cycle to the sounds and rhythms of “Las Parrandas de Aguinaldos”. After this tumultuous year, LP21 wants to deliver the same Holiday spirit as ever! BPAW Cycle 2 will be dedicated to our holiday traditions with 3 Bomba Dance sessions outlining "Pintando la figura," focusing on the ways in which we are intentional about our movements and can use them to tell a story that conveys our emotion. Cycle 2 will also have 3 Drumming sessions devoted to the rhythms of Plena and Requinto. We will end the cycle with a very special (donation-based) bonus session, which will act as our virtual “Las Parrandas de Aguinaldos!”
